St. Teresa of Avila (1515-1582) On this twentieth day of twenty-one days of prayer and fasting you have journey quite a bit into the deeper things of God. You have asked things of the Lord that perhaps before you were hesitant or despondent about. God is honored by your BIG requests. He is pleased that you think of Him so much that you consider Him quite able, willing, and ready to handle your petitions. Some may have already seen God answer prayers. Others may be waiting for Gods timing. The most important thing you gather together in your spirit is the one fact that through this time of prayer and fasting you have grown very close to the Lord and that is something we can all build upon as we seek to grow more and more pleasing in His sight. Spend this time today trusting God for His answers and falling deeper and deeper in love with the one loves you.
