I have some locations i will list ,where they will take surrenders. eventually we will start a waiting list for surrenders, THAT WILL NOT BE FOR AWHILE! #1)- If you live IN or AROUND Fond Du Lac Wisconsin , contact: HEATHER: at heads & tails/ critter junction animal rescue at: 920 933 5111 or 154 Satterlee street , in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin. I TALKED TO HEATHER LAST NIGHT ,SHE HAS imformed me that she has PLENTY OF SPACE FOR SURRENDERS. they are a respected rescue in their area. they DO have a fb page for their rescue. #2)- if you live IN or AROUND Oshkosh Wisconsin, contact: Kristin or Rebecca at: K & R small animal sancatuary, 1611 north ullman street, Appleton , Wisconsin, They DO take in Guinea pigs, I HAVE NOT spoken to them ,so I DO NOT know if they have room, you would have to contact them to find out. they are a respected rescue in their area. they DO have a fb page for their rescue. #3) - If you live IN or AROUND the Madison / Wanakee area CONTACT : Nichole Smith or Jessie Luther at Mad city Cavies, They DO take in guinea pigs, I am NOT sure if they have room at this time. i DO NOT have an address or CURRENT phone # for the rescue, They DO have a fb page for their rescue. they are a respected rescue in their area. #4)- If you live IN or AROUND Brooklyn Park ,Minnesota, contact Natasha Anderson at : The Piggy Place: She DOES take in guinea pigs , i AM NOT sure if she has room at this time. I DO NOT have an address or phone # for the rescue. They DO have a fb page for the rescue, they ARE a respected rescue in their area. #5)- If you live IN or AROUND the Chicago Illinois area , contact : Critter Corral: I DO NOT have an address or phone # for the rescue. I DO know they take guinea pigs, I AM NOT sure if they have room , you would HAVE to contact them to find out. they ARE a respected rescue in their area. they DO have a fb page for their rescue. SIDE NOTE: I have NEVER spoken to or had ANY relationship with (K&R animal sanctuary,or the Critter corral) I have had LIMITED exposure with Mad city cavies & the piggy place & Critter junction/heads & tales rescue), HOWEVER: I HAVE had verbal contact with Mad city cavies, the Piggy place & Critter Junction/ Heads & Tails). ALL of the rescues listed have AMAZING references and will be able to help you. S.W.C DOES NOT and HAS NEVER paid surrender fees to take guinea pigs into care & I DOUBT any of the above mentioned rescues do either. Thanks to EVERYONE for supporting us ,And Thanks for your understanding in this matter. My goal is to LOVE & CARE FOR THE KIDDOS ALREADY IN OUR CARE, & TO FIND THEM SAFE,LOVING ,CARING ,FOREVER FAMILIES. IN ORDER TO DO THAT I HAVE TO KNOW OUR LIMITS & KEEP STRICT TO THEM.
