WANTAGE — Township officials, following several recent acts of vandalism at Woodbourne Park, are taking steps to protect the grounds from further damage by unknown motorists who have been driving onto the grass and ballfields within the park, where tire tracks remained clearly visible prior to the snow that fell Saturday morning. For the remainder of the winter, a gate is being placed in the area of the park’s front cul-de-sac in what officials hope will prevent further damage by vehicles entering on to the grounds.
