WARNING LOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK! Yesterday was a very scary day in my life. My dad asked if I could change the u joint on his front driveshaft, so I said yes. I took a break from working on my jeep and while my parents were at the ball field I went to change it. I went to use the press while I had grandpa taking a break from working with me to rest so I could finish up my parents jeep. I had to adjust the press and when I pulled the last pin the table pinched my finger in the press, but I didnt realize it had happened until I tried to pull my hand away. As soon as I saw my finger I tried to lift the press off, but it was way to heavy. So I screamed for grandpa and grandma, but no one heard me. Luckily I had my phone in my pocket and called grandma for help. Grandpa couldnt lift the press off, but was able to pry it off to get my finger out. First thing I did was have him take a picture and this is what happened. They called a life squad as a Dillsboro police officer waited with me, grandma, and grandpa. First time I had been in an ambulance. After all the little detailed stuff Dr. Jarmen was able to numb me up, clean some of the grease off of me, pull my fingernail off, stitch my finger that was hanging back onto my finger, and then reattach my nail. So all in all I still have my finger thank The Lord! Thank you everyone who has sent prayers to making my finger be ok. Thanks to my grandma and grandpa for helping me as soon as it happened. Thanks to my mom for showing up so quick to take care of me. Thanks to the EMTs, RNs, and Dr. for taking care of my finger. And thanks to my dad, brother, and girlfriend for coming to the ER to support me, but thanks for all the comments and posts on Facebook for all the support! God really blessed us yesterday!
