WARNING .... Rant Alert ....I am most probably speaking out of turn, and get into trouble, but I do tend to speak my mind. Just Spent the afternoon up at Jurby at the VMCC and thought I would take some photos of the bikes going round the track, Went and signed on at the VMCC, went to ask the steward if I could cross the track, and basically told NO, I was not an official VMCC Photographer, I showed him my MGP Pass etc, but still a NO and went on to say Did I not realise how much it costs to put on an event like this on, last year there were a dozen or so photographers, and they didnt make an money .... So I said But it cannot all be just about the money, these guys pay to ship their bikes over, and I bet they would like a photo of them going round the course .... Still a firm NO .... We have ouR OFFICIAL VMCC Photographers, dont care what you do the rest of the year, your not getting on the track ..... Hmmmmmmm off I go kind of miffed, then to see photographers on the track doing nothing, and with UN-Official bibs on ..... If you are going to have arsey rules, make sure they apply to ALL !!!!
