WARNING!!! The lovely new store Designer rooms.....dont be fooled when you walk through the door....I went in a couple of weeks ago and bought a new table and mirror and a few cushions.....on delivery my mirror was delivered shattered....called the store and was offered an exchange which I was happy to take.....when the delivery men delivered the exchange mirror they laid the box flat on the floor and lifted the lid.....everything looked fine so I accepted it and that was that.....when the hubby got home we decided to hang it....when we went to lift it out....The frame wasnt attached to the mirror (the frame is a sequence of small mirrors that lie on the top of the actual mirror).....called the store and explained.....However we basically got told that they were not going to take responsibility for this....so I now have a very expensive mirror in two parts.....The manager wouldnt even come on the phone and his sales assistant told us to take it up with trading standards.....to say Im raging would be an understatement....after giving them a great write up on the group I help run and ranting about all the pieces in the store....disgusting treatment especially from a new store to the town and to treat potential returning customers in this way.....be warned peeps
