WARNING: This happened to me. I had all of my updates set to automatic. For 5 hours this morning, I had to keep shutting down and rebooting, going into SAFE MODE and trying various things before I was finally able to quarantine 3 trojan virus that were downloaded with piggy backed add ons. The updates were Java, Microsoft Security Essentials (I know....RIGHT), and one came in thru ZYNGA. They showed as: Adware: Win32 / Open Candy and Adware: Win32 / GameVance (I am guessing from ZYNGA. And the one was Java / Open Connection.MV. I lost the MSE info before I could jot it down. Its a bother to have to decide on all updates but evidently MUCH safer.
