WARNING: This statement will not be POLITICALLY CORRECT. Watch this video until the end. Makes complete sense to me. When bad things happen to people (whether we think theyre good or bad makes no difference), we want the issue to pass over so we dont have to think about race, religion or politics. Im the say way. The problem is, unchecked corruption becomes widespread and eventually comes knocking on our own door. While the response from the community was outrageous (they made 60+ arrests) that doesnt negate the obvious coverup that has taken place. Im sorry if you think this is offensive or in poor taste. Im not one for movements, but I do fear that one day my son in his teenage, possibly REBELLIOUS years (weve all had them) might be shot and killed in cold blood by a neighborhood rent-a-cop for brandishing his SKITTLES AND SWEET TEA as was the case with Trayvon Martin. In the end, his killer is walking free, even though he was told NOT to pursue the young boy. But he went free because this young man defended himself against a stranger with a GUN who was racially profiling him. But we found thuggish pictures of him online and he was big so that makes killing an innocent black teen with skittles and tea right. Does ANYONE ELSE see that this is a trend??? So, while Mike Brown may not have been a saint, it doesnt mean officer Wilson was right for killing him. Last I checked, robbery and disorderly conduct didnt qualify anyone for the death penalty. And even if they did, shouldnt there be a process to determine that? You know, the right we all have to a fair trial? Ok, let me get off my soapbox now.
