WARNING VERY GRAPHIC. BUT A MUST WATCH VIDEO. (TEARS) A Prayer For Any Who Has/Is A Victim Of Domestic Violence: Lord, help us to be supportive – not reactive. Our friends and family members who are victims need us to be non-judgmental and caring. They need to know they are still worthy of being loved, no matter how bad things get. They need us to be educated, rational and calm. This is hard to do when someone we love is hurting! Break this cycle of wickedness and despair and give them your protection for they know that the most dangerous time for them is when they leave an abuser. Be with them and give them courage as they create safety plans or activate them. Meet their needs for shelter, food, clothing, finances, spiritual strength, and take care of their other needs as well. Help them as parents to teach their children that abuse should never be condoned. Help them to give space and time to allow for healing on all levels, by all parties, both victim, abuser and children. Heal them all, as friends and family Lord.
