WASHINGTON, DC - As I was standing in front of The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool at the 2013 50th Anniversary of The March on Washington, I was observing thousands of people gathering all the way back to The Washington Monument. I was photographing this historic event for a display to go into The Costen Cultural Exhibit. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed as I wanted to capture the same picture as the original 1963 March. Back then, they allowed people to gather all the way up to the steps of The Lincoln Memorial and this time security didnt allow them to congregate past the reflecting pool.
