WASTE YOURSELVES FOR JESUS AND GIVE UNTO CHRIST YOUR ALL. I know it is a catchy phrase to waste ourselves for Jesus, neither is the terminology that bad. To pour everything I am, I have, and will ever be for Jesus is most defiantly NOT a waste! This is the best, most profitable, valuable thing that could ever be done! Certainly our sister who poured her life savings on Jesus didnt think of it as a waste, neither did our Beloved Christ Jesus did. The sister i am referring to was the one who emptied her only wealth upon Christ with a bottle of precious ointment, who shocked the disciples with such immodest abundance, thereby making Jesus delighted (Matthew 26:6-13). She had captured His very own spirit of greatness. The fragrance filled the house, and everywhere was filled with the catchy fragrance of her ointment (which could be translated to good deeds this day). Although, it could be perceived a crazy deed before non-christians (people who are not like Christ), but i will beseech you stop seeking/looking after people rewards before you give to God in a wasteful manner (bountiful). The little things matter to Jesus and the attitude as well. Jesus gave His all, this woman gave her all, and the woman with the mite gave her all. Help me, oh Lord to give my all to Thee. Lastly brethren, Ill enjoin you to start giving in your all to serve the Lord in a crazy manner by giving Him in a wasteful way. N.B: the negative words are with positive intent. Thus, in every negativity, there are positive intentions beneath.
