WE ARE VERY MUCH ON TRACK, Okey Ezeh assures supporters APGA governorship Aspirant Mr Okey Ezeh has assured his supporters across the 27 Local Government Area of the State that his clinching of the party’s governorship ticket and become the governor of Imo State come 2015 is still alive. Mr. Ezeh who gave this assurance in a press release to newsmen, urged his supporters not to waiver in their commitment to his campaign organization. He described the purported endorsement of his opponent as non issue which only exposed the state of mind of the brains behind such move because according to him, any aspirant who is in charge of the situation in the party, does not need to resort to dropping the name of the National Chairman to get party officials to “endorse” him even when the party has not release guidelines for primary election. Mr. Okey Ezeh stated that only aspirants can be endorsed and since APGA has no Aspirant yet, the purported endorsement does not worth more than the paper it was written on. The youthful politician also maintain that APGA as a party did not necessarily endorse President Jonathan at their rally in Awka, stressing that what the party did was to assure the number one citizen of total support if he declares to seek re-election. According to him “In the case of Jonathan, no document was signed because he had not yet declared and moreover, that was spearheaded by the National Working Committee of the party”. He described himself as the candidate to beat in the primary election since he is relying more on God and the generality of APGA people, who he said where short-changed by the 35 people that were deceived to sign what he called a laughable arrangement.
