WE HAVE COME TO THE FATHER...... Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 We have been saved to have a very deep intimate relationship with the Father. The life of Jesus Christ was designed to reveal God to us as our Father. When God saved Israel out of Egypt, He had to remind them that He brought them to HIMSELF. Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles wings, and brought you unto myself. Exodus 19:4 And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount. Exodus 19:17 Israel was set free to serve Him and worship Him (Exodus 8:1). The labour of bondage and affliction prevented genuine worship. Deliverance is guaranteed if your aim is to worship Him. Your freedom is to worship Him; your promised land is a place of worship. We have not been saved to have things/materials. It’s not just about enjoying this world or this life, having husband and children.The primary reason for your call to salvation is to be with Him, to worship Him, serve Him, in a very deep intimate relationship. When Jesus called the apostles, He called them to be with Him first (Mark 3:13-14), before He sent them out. Activities, ministry, and other things, even life, come secondary. The fulfillment of those is a product of solid relationship with God. Nothing you have or He gave you should take His place in your life. You are not saved for tasks; refuse to be entangled again with the yoke of bondage and activities. May you find grace to serve and worship the Lord in a more intimate way in Christ Jesus name.
