IF YOU ARE CONCERN ABOUT STOPPING THE VIOLENCE Dear Friend(s): The Officers and Board Members of The El-Beth-El Development Center will host its Fourth Annual “Stop the Violence Recognition Banquet” on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. This year banquet will be held at the Community Rehabilitation Center Banquet Hall located at 623 Beechwood Street in Jacksonville, Florida. Since 2010 we have honored dedicated individuals from the community for outstanding achievements, leadership and their contributions in helping Jacksonville build a stronger and healthier community. 2013 “Stop the Violence” Honorees: • The Honorable Paula D. Wright- Duval County School Board • Attorney Robert Fishback, Attorney At Law • David Hodges- Private Investigator • Attorney Refik W. Eler- Chief Assistant Public Defender • Maria Machin, President of LULAC • Lt. Mathew Nemeth, - Director of Police Athletic League • Ms. Jackie Perry- Director of Beaver Street Enterprise • Dr. Nikolai P. Vitti- Duval County School Board Supertindent • Ms. Rita Perry – Owner & C.E.O. of Jacksonville Free Press • Mr. Michael Carralero – District Manager of Walgreens Store Our Guest Speaker for the evening will be the Honorable Duval County Court Judge Gary P. Flower. To help us celebrate our 4th year of Stop the Violence Recognition in the Jacksonville community, we are seeking individual and corporate sponsorships to support the youth from the Sickle Cell Anemia Patients, The Hispanic Community, The Haitian Community and The Police Athletic League organizations. This year, we will honor eight (12) youth for outstanding achievement, four (4) will be selected from PAL, two (2) from the Hispanic Community, (2) from the Haitian Community,(2) from El-Beth-El Development Center and two (2) from Sickle Cell presented a $100.00 gift card and recognition certificate. • A/B honor roll • Good Citizenship & Character • Positive Leadership Corporate tables of ten (10) are available for $500.00 each (includes your ad in our souvenir journal).
