WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE MIDLANDS (co the met office) EAST MIDLANDS (WEST MIDLANDS FOLLOWS) Headline: Dry, hot, mostly sunny. Today: Dry and hot for most with sunshine from dawn to dusk. Refreshingly cooler though near the Lincolnshire coast in the sea breeze, perhaps with a little mist. Maximum Temperature 29 °C. Tonight: Dry and largely clear overnight after evening sunshine, although still quite muggy, and with the chance of some mist rolling in off the North Sea to affect the Lincolnshire coast. Minimum Temperature 15 °C. Friday: Some mist or low cloud near coasts, but plenty of sunshine again inland, where it will be another very warm day. Maximum Temperature 28 °C. Outlook for Saturday to Monday: Generally dry, sunny spells, although rather more cloud around than recent days, especially in the east. Very warm in sunshine inland, cooler near coasts and under cloudier skies. WEST MIDLANDS Headline: Remaining dry and feeling hot with plenty of sunshine. Today: Generally sunny through the morning and although it will be a little cloudier during the afternoon there will still be plenty of sunny spells for many. Staying dry with light winds and feeling a little warmer than yesterday. Maximum Temperature 30 °C. Tonight: Lingering cloud soon melting away with largely clear skies across the region overnight. Remaining warm, especially in towns and cities. Minimum Temperature 14 °C. Friday: Most places sunny, but as with previous days some cloud is likely to bubble up by the afternoon. Staying very warm, although perhaps feeling marginally cooler than recent days. Maximum Temperature 29 °C. Outlook for Saturday to Monday: Largely sunny and staying mainly dry with only a slight chance of isolated thundery showers developing. Remaining very warm with temperatures continuing above average.
