WEATHER SUMMARY FOR SOUTHERN OREGON AND NORTHERN - TopicsExpress

WEATHER SUMMARY FOR SOUTHERN OREGON AND NORTHERN CALIFORNIA Have no real changes to the forecasts short or long term to this point. We do have a weak system coming through today. This is going to be a producer of widespread cloudiness for sure. The rain that does come with this is going to be mostly at the Coast, from Douglas County north, and in the Cascades. We might see some very light showers....sprinkles really for the Rogue Valley, but that is it. Northern California will see the clouds and that is it. Not expecting any rain to make it south of the border. This weekend will be very nice after all with sunny skies and highs in the low to mid 70s for the valleys, and 60s for areas east of the Cascades. Our next rain maker arrives for Monday, and it looks like it will be exactly what we saw last Tuesday in almost all respects. Expect similar rains to what was seen Tuesday, and expect snow levels to drop to 5000 feet or so for Monday night to Tuesday morning. There will be accumulating snow as well again. Winds however on this system do not look to be as strong as what was seen Tuesday. Still going to be breezy though with stronger gusts at times. Once we get that storm cleared out, we will be seeing showers and unsettled conditions. The data is now wanting to take the next storm in line to the north of us for Wednesday into Thursday next week.
