WEDNESDAY WEATHER FORECAST - We have a Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect for all of the viewing area until midnight tonight. A cluster of strong to severe thunderstorms will move through the region this evening and again tonight, with gusty winds, heavy rainfall, frequent lighting, large hail, and an isolated tornado. The best timeframe for the first round of storms will be between 5pm and 8pm, with another round expected around midnight. Rain should begin to taper off after midnight, yet lingering rain will be possible into early Thursday as well. Overnight low temperatures will be around 70 degrees. Thursday: Mostly cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will be possible throughout Thursday. Most of the weather models are showing the bulk of the scattered rain showers for early Thursday, with rain mainly east of I-75 for late Thursday, as a cold front moves through the region. Thursday high temperatures will be around 86 degrees. Thursday night: will be partly cloudy with the chance for an isolated rain shower. Thursday night into Friday morning low temperatures will be around 69 degrees. Friday: Temperatures will remain warm with partly sunny skies and the chance for some late day thunderstorms, with high temperatures around 85 degrees. Weekend: This weekend will be a little milder, with highs only around 80 degrees, with partly cloudy skies and the chance for a few rain showers and thunderstorms. Next Week: Temperatures will remain below normal into early next week, with lingering, isolated rain chances each day.
