WEEK FOUR DAY 3 WEDNESDAY 22/01/2014 GODS WORD IN HIS TRUE PLACE The entire creation including man and Gods blessing that accompanied it are through the infallible word of God. The revelation of Gods mind is primarily in His word and is the basis for other expressions of His mind namely: the spiritual gifts. Esau loved the outdoor life, but Jacob a quiet man, stayed at home. Esau was skilful but had little or no interest In Gods law governing Abrahamic blessings. Jacob stayed at home, received knowledge and valued the most important thing. (Prov. 31:1) Treasure Gods word, for the word of God in the heart of man is the basis for divine blessing. (Psalm 1:1-3) MEDITATION: slowly go through these points below, do not be in a hurry, sincerely position yourself to deal with these issues of life. 1. What is d basis for my actions, Gods word or my human ideas? 2.Why do I think I can have more than the mercy drops by my skill - human wisdom and intellect? 3. Read Prov. 8:10,11. Can my life become an enduring building outside Gods word? PRAYER 1. Lord, open my eyes to the riches of the everlasting covenant. 2. Lord, help me to desire and live your word. 3. Deliver me from building on sinking ground.
