WEEKEND BBQ Tips! • Be sure to heat your bbq to medium to high before you start. • Soak wooden skewers in a bowl of water for 15 minutes before using, to avoid them going on fire. • If you have any rosemary or thyme growing in the garden, cut off some sprigs and throw them on the barbecue, as they burn they release fantastic flavours into the food. • Only start cooking on the barbecue when the fire and smoke has died down and you have very hot red embers. • Have a long tongs (so you don’t burn yourself) and a brush (to clean the grill). • Have a little table beside the barbecue for all your oils, seasonings, marinades, etc.
