WEEKEND SNOW UPDATE: For those of you who cannot watch us because of no power, I will give you the word here since many can still use mobile devices to check updates on social media. Last week on January 30th, I put out a post on facebook stating the rumor of 30-40 inches of snow with a blizzard on the 8th/9th was just that a RUMOR. Today I am happy to say I am keeping my word and explained on the 4pm newscast that two pieces of energy to fuel a powerful coastal storm WILL STAY separate. As it looks right now we will see some snow on Saturday and Sunday, but we are talking at most a few inches. IF they briefly meet up (and this could happen) we could get a little more, BUT NOTHING near 30-40 inches NO MATTER WHAT. As of this morning, it is a minor storm. Social media can be our best friend and our worst enemy, so please stay with us to give you the straight forward answers. If you can remember where you first heard this, I would honestly think twice about going back to that source in the future.
