WEEKLY PHOTO – JULY 22 – COZUMEL JUNGLE From Roger Miller, Photographer; Image Publishing, Ltd. and The Workshops in Digital Photography Cozumel, Mexico, is renowned for its great beaches and water sports. Much of the interior of the island is dense with low vegetation as you can see in this photo. The climate is warm and humid which creates this dense vegetation. It is also alive with bugs, bug eaters and crocodiles. I took this photo on a golf course. All of the water traps had signs “Do not retrieve golf balls – Crocodiles.” I think I will stick to the beaches. TECH DATA: Photo taken with a Nikon 700 with a Tamron f3.5 28.0 to 300.0 mm lens, exposure 1/160 second at f10, my white balance was daylight , ISO 1250. I could have brought my ISO up to 3,000 and shot at 1/250 of a second to make this a little sharper. Enjoy the beauty of the jungle and have a great week. Your questions and comments are welcome!!
