WEEKSTART INVIGORATOR 10 Welcome to this weeks post! As we all know, spring has officially come. And that can mean a lot of things to different people - whether its spring cleaning or spring break, or from shopping for seasonal clothes to restarting your jogging regimen. Well whatever it is, we go on with our lives. But what I really plan on discussing actually happened last winter, in the beginning of the year. Can you guess what it is? Yes, thats right: our New Years resolution! For those of us that have made one, are we still keeping them, now that a quarter of the year have passed? Okay, before I do the dreaded poll, I want us all to do some pondering and self-reflection. Do you know exactly why you chose your particular resolution? What motivated you to pick that specific resolution? Was it truly something you wanted for yourself; or do you think perhaps there were external influences (e.g. how women want to lose weight even if they are not overweight but because of media pressure)? What was your aim/goal/cause? Was it a zealous determination to better yourself; or was it a sincere dedication to help others? Did you want change; or rather, did you want to stay more firmly-rooted. Looking back in hindsight, did you think you made the right decision? Do you think you were overambitious? We know that, as humans, we are naturally lazy and and that we are procrastinators. Do you think that you will have enough resolve to maintain your resolution until the very end of the year...? Alright, heres a quick poll: 1) I was very determined when I picked my New Years resolution and am still going strong now. I am confident that I can keep it until next year. 2) I was very committed at the beginning of the year, but because my life is so eventful/busy/troubled, Im starting to slack off now. 3) I made one at the beginning of the year, but I wasnt completely adamant about it, and Ive been doing it on and off, more or less. 4) I was half-jokingly hopeful at the start to devote myself to a resolution, but then life hit me, and I just deserted it. 5) I dont do New Years resolutions. I either think that it is pointless, or I just think its a silly tradition. 6) [Other] Please describe or elaborate if you can. Make your selection and comment below. You dont have to specify exactly what your resolution is if you dont wish to; but if you can, itll be great if anyone of you can share your life-experiences by commenting as well. Id love to hear all your interesting and unique opinions, perspectives, and any self-analytical thoughts, too... So, thanks for viewing, and please spread the word around about this weekly Sunday post as much as you can! Id really appreciate it. Until next W.I., have a great week!
