WEEPING MAY ENDURE FOR A NIGHT... 1. If youve cried so much to the point that you felt you were all cried out, 2. If trials have seemed to hit you back to back to back to back to back, 3. If youve been subjected to constant ridicule just for being different, honest, and refusing to go along just to get along, 4. If youve given your life to the Lord and now have a renewed heart and transformed way of living, yet you find some people are attempting to make you feel guilty about past mistakes, 5. If youve recently been disappointed, rejected, abandoned, abused, betrayed, and misunderstood, 6. If youve experienced what many have labeled as church hurt, 7. If youre just emotionally exhausted, 8. If you are hurting for reasons not mentioned in the above, then I wish to encourage you tonight. Just because you are saved, that doesnt mean everyone will accept you. It doesnt mean you are exempt from hardships, and it doesnt mean you wont experience emotional pain at times. Ive had many nights when I would cry myself to sleep, many days when I felt no one understood me but God, many times when I would be SO upset that when I tried to pray, I couldnt find the right words. All I could manage to say was Lord, help me., and I would repeat those words over and over and over again. Yet, there was something inside of me that would rise up and say, You can make it. Im right here. Lean on and trust in Me. Dont give up. Your change is coming. That something, or should I say SOMEONE, would be the Lord. My dear sisters and brothers, if you have Jesus, then you WILL make it. Just because you are on the right path, it doesnt mean it will be easy. However, God will give you the strength you need to face and get through each day. May the Lord continue to strengthen you and keep you. May He bless you and your household abundantly, in Jesus name.
