WELCOME BACK FROM BREAK!!! Announcements 12/1 A REMINDER FROM PRINCIPAL LOWDER: Wednesday Dec. 3rd will be a Club Day, but with closed campus. Friday Dec. 5th is NOT a club day, it will be a regular bell schedule with two lunches. IF YOU WILL BE EXTENDING THE AAPS WINTER VACATION BREAK in December, you will need to request an EXTENDED ABSENCE FORM from your Class Secretary. These forms must be signed by your parent, all your teachers, and turned in at least 3 days prior to the first day of your absence. So, if you will be absent AFTER the winter break, you must turn in the form before the break. Student Council and National Honor Society are teaming up to collect Toys for Tots, which gives toys to children in need. Drop off toys in C327 or C331 (Mr. Packard and Mrs. Mackes rooms) before December 17th. ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS, this is a message from the counselors: 2ND semester is fast approaching. Please check PowerSchool to make sure you have all of the classes you need. If you have holes in your schedule, please come and see your counselor either before or after school or lunch. You may also make an appointment to talk about second semester classes. Come soon, as many classes fill up for second semester, and choices are limited. NHS members need to finish their volunteer hours by the end of first semester exams. Get your tutoring hours in by tutoring in room C327 on Tuesdays and Thursdays or in C222 at lunch. Sign up with signuigenius. Sign up for the Pioneer Super Smash Brothers Melee tournament. Sign up sheets will be outside the annex during both lunches. The tournament will start on Wednesday December 3rd and run through Friday December 5th. The cost of participation is $5. Half the proceeds will go to charity and half for 1st through 3rd place prizes.
