WELCOME!!! First time visiting or seeing this? Please read the whole post and feel free to re-post/share it with anyone and everyone! :) We are one of the Seattle soul scenes new original groups formed in January of 2014 by local Seattle artist, Joey soul Walbaum, and is comprised of a 4-piece rhythm section, a 4-piece horn section and sometimes includes backup singers and other added artists depending on the event. Our goal as a band is to invite you into the pocket, take you for a climb into the mountains through a jungle of funk and electronic vibrations all while lifting your soul through inspirational lyrics and melodic phrases. Although we are a new band on the scene, the members are not new to the game! All of the band members have come across each other through professional side gigs and various jam spots throughout Seattle. Everyone has influences in jazz and funk with certain members swimming in electronic, blues, rock and pop flavors. Not only do they individually have a personal joy for music that is shared, but there is a unique bond between members that you can feel as an audience.
