TUESDAY, 8/6: Miles, 6.09; 15.9 avg. sp. 15.9; max sp. 25.9; time, 22:55; WEDNESDAY, 8/7: Miles, 6.08; avg. sp., 16.0; max sp., 27.0; time, 22:46; Thursday, 8/8: Miles, 6.09; avg. sp., 15.9; max sp., 26.1; time, 23:00. Pretty consistent, heh? And COULD THERE BE ANYTING MORE BOOORING? Well, I’m having my USUAL Hale ‘N’ Hearty small tossed salad as I keyboard: Mixed greens, cucumber, carrots, onions, croutons, corn, Asian Peanut dressing, 7-grain bread with a few unsalted chips thrown in. And club soda. Are you guys OK? Is this TOO MUCH for you? Please calm down…if you can. Went to my pulmonary doc last night…whom I really, really like…to discuss my PANIC ATTACK last Wednesday night at The Ultimate Torture Center when they had me sleep with the Darth Vader CPAP mask on for my SLEEP APNEA. He thought I would do well with a MANDIBULAR ADVANCEMENT DEVICE…which is an in-mouth appliance that you sleep with which keeps your airway open. I used something like this 30 years ago at night ‘cause I was grinding my teeth as I slept. I mean, it didn’t serve the same purpose as this one…but it was inside my mouth as I slept. You figure this is TMI? Naah…just the tip-of-the-iceberg, really. Actually, I’m hopeful the mouth appliance will work for me. I’m a mouth-breather. I don’t walk, ride, Spin and breathe thru my nose. Just the opposite. I probably won’t have this thing for another three weeks. Hope I’m alive when I try it out. I have ‘EDITOR’S CRAMP’ right now. Kinda like writer’s cramp…when you just can’t sit down and create. WELL…I’m feelin’ the same way about the stuff I gotta edit at home. Just don’t feel like editing Drew’s Bar Mitzvah…or the ULTRA-BORING corporate video I have to do. I usually edit at night and on the weekend…and I have two projects I MUST finish before we leave for Provincetown for the week of 8/17-8/24. I JUST CAN’T PUT THEM OFF ANY LONGER! By the way, we will be with the whole fam in P-Town…Sash, Mike-and-Amanda and Deb-and-Alex . I couldn’t be happier that they all wanna come with Berta and me. That’s very…VERY…cool! BTW…I’m sitting here wearing Duane Reade fake-reading glasses …because I DON’T WEAR GLASSES 24/7 ANYMORE. Blind in one eye for 21/2 months…that right eye is now 20/25; my left eye is 20/20 with a contact lens…and I only need freaking glasses to read! Hehe…I don’t write the script; I just follow it.
