In MY opinion, the Ulster County Executive: Mike Hein is nothing more than a dictator. Closed door deals, putting the rails in a 2013 budget WITHOUT even informing the public. If its the publics property, then why is one person making all the decisions? Hein wont even sit down and speak about HOW to move forward. Its all up to HIM, not we the people of Ulster County. In my eyes this man is a complete disgrace!! Im ONE example of the MANY residents who have volunteered their time for Catskill Mountain Railroad Co. over the years. I spend my own money improving Ulster Countys economic resource! My LOCAL Shandaken brush crew has cleared the whole line from Kingston to Ashokan! I will say it again, there is enough room for both Rail With Trail. Mr. Hein must be scared of my scheduled track car rides this Spring.
