WEST LA LEADERS ENDORSE BOBBY SHRIVER BOBBY SHRIVER, candidate for LA Countys Third District Supervisor, has been endorsed by multiple West Los Angeles Homeowners Association leaders. The list includes prominent community leaders from West LA, Comstock Hills, Holmby/Westwood, Overland Avenue, and Cheviot Hills. Representing the western portion of LAs Third Supervisorial District, including several incorporated cities as well as unincorporated areas within or adjacent to Santa Monica, this area has been represented by Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky for over a decade. Michael Eveloff, who has lived in West LA his entire life, is a software developer, business owner, and CIO of a retail chain, has been active in West Los Angeles Homeowners Association issues and served as President of the Tract 7260 Homeowners Association. Joining the other West LA leaders in endorsing Bobby Shriver for Supervisor, he issued the following statement. Bobby Shriver is exactly what we need in West LA. We need a straight shooter with Bobby Shrivers vast for-profit and non-profit business experience. We need leaders who know how to listen to constituents and know how to get things done. We need a leader who knows that West LAs best chance at reducing traffic is getting the subway to Century City, Westwood, and the VA. That leader is Bobby Shriver. Terri Tippit, President West of Westwood HOA, Chair Westside Neighborhood Council Lucie Baca, President Cheviot Hills Traffic/Safety Bobby Shriver responded to the endorsement, saying: I appreciate enormously the support of these community leaders. Each has devoted their valuable time to making their community and LA more livable. I look forward to working with them as their next Supervisor and dedicating myself to tackling with them the really tough challenges ahead, like reducing the traffic gridlock that has plagued West LA for decades. Its time to solve that problem and Ill work hard to do that.
