BELOW IS COPY OF LETTER FROM GRAEME CLEGG (Founder and Chairman) Saturday, August 5, 2013 New Image cleared by Fonterra Dear Customer New Image Group has been advised by Fonterra that it is not affected by the quality issue involving Fonterra’s whey protein concentrate (WPC80). A Fonterra spokesman has assured us that none of the dairy products it has supplied us through any channel for any of New Image’s products, or those we have manufactured under contract, contains the affected Fonterra whey product. Specifically products sold through the New Image International direct selling channel i.e. Alpha Lipid Lifeline, SDII, and general colostrum products do not contain this ingredient in their formulations. That means any product that New Image has manufactured will NOT be the subject of any recall arising from the issue. We understand that until the facts around the WPC80 issue are known more fully that some of our customers may remain concerned. Please be assured that New Image manufactured products do not contain the affected WPC80 Fonterra has identified. The traceability systems in place in the New Zealand industry are robust and were able to prove quickly that New Image had not received the affected WPC80 batches.
