WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? ~ TIME IS SLIPPING AWAY~ Krishna is Lord Hari (One who takes away all material miseries) If we do not give up our material attachments.. Krishna gradually rips them away one by one or sometimes not so gradual.. What ever is best for our devotional service. If you have prayed to Him sincerely just once, to attain Him...He never forgets that.. and He will do all to help you surrender to His lotus feet and attain that goal, so you can become free of all miseries.. Srila Prabhupada said we can give up our material attachments or Krishna can give special mercy.. and that special mercy is taking away all things keeping you from your true happiness.. Better we give up voluntarily ... it is much less painful.. Really Srila Prabhupada wanted all of us followers to make our home or apartment an ashram. Home owners are called Grehasta.. well even if we dont own it (no one owns anything anyway) but it is to be used in Krishnas service. He wanted us to All follow the morning program, rise early, do our morning puja offering and kirtan, make lovely food offerings for Krishna and chant our rounds daily.. This will make your home an ashram.. And if one is very strong they can hold Bhagavad Gita classes at their home and cook nice prasad and give to guests.. or simply invite devotees and have nice association there... But we should all do the very basics. Anyone can worship Gaura Nitai.. If we have Sweet Sri Sri Gaura Nitai Deities, this keeps our ashram (home) (Krishnas home) sanctified and our minds as well. Then we can start to realize everything is Krishnas and meant for His pleasure.. As we buy the Bhoga (food stuffs, flowers etc.) for His pleasure instead of ours.. In this way we become happy to please the senses of the Lord, instead of always trying to please our own senses. This is the Krishna Bhakti process, and it is natural and sublime. Anyone can do it. But if we keep waiting for the proper situation and proper time.. we could loose everything including our life. So dont wait. Make Krishna your everything and see your life change and see yourself become happy. No time to worry about what the world is doing. When we actually accept what Guru and Krishna says ...that this material world.. all the way up to the heavenly planets are places of misery and that this is simply a prison house.. and that there is no Love within this material world. (These are all statements by Lord Krishna) Then we can stop chasing after material happiness and Love here and seek the pure true Happiness and Love that awaits us all. Its simply a realization and choice. Following the process is the ticket to that.. Taking shelter of Guru and Krishnas teachings and following is the ticket. You can do it if you want.. Gauranga!
