WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO BE BORN-AGAIN? Except one be born-again he cannot see the kingdom of God (Heaven). John 3:3. What do I need to do to be born-again? 1) Understand that when Adam sinned, all men were born into the nature of sin and so naturally produced the works of sin. All came short of the Glory of God (Rom. 3:23). The wages of sin is death (Rom. 6:23). 2) Believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God; was born a human being, died on the cross taking your place, shed His blood at Calvary, was raised by the Spirit of God in His bodily form and is alive forever more. Believe that His blood was sufficient to cleanse all of your sins (with no exception whatsoever) and replace your sinful nature with His divine nature. Rom. 10:9-10; Rom. 6:6-10 3) Sincerely Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and ask Him to forgive you of all your sins and invite Him to be Lord of your life. Rom. 10:13. Believe by faith that He has done just as you have asked. 4) You are now a new creation, a regenerated spirit, born of the incorruptible seed through the word of God by the Holy Spirit. 1 Pet. 1:23; 1 Cor. 5:17-21 5) You are now a child of God. John 1:12. Repent from Sin. Acts 17:30, Matt. 3:8. Confess your faith to others. Matt 10:32-33; Luke 9:26; Rom 10:9-10; Acts 8:36-37. 6) Be water-baptized by full immersion. Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; Acts 22:16; 1 Pet. 3:21 Welcome to God’s family. Hallelujah!!Praise the Living God!!
