WHAT DO YOU DO IN THE WINTER? If we had a £1 for every person who asks us this question, we would be rich! We certainly dont jet off to the sun for 6 months as many of you think. end of OCT is spent packing away the Tea Garden and storing furniture etc.. cleaning and defrosting freezers, stock taking, covering signs, taking down and packing away signs, cleaning and storing equipment and dealing with online orders. NOV/DEC processing and sending online orders, making stock for Xmas craft fair, attending craft fair and making lots of our Xmas range to meet demand. JAN/FEB We get lots of orders in Jan so are still busy packaging and sending. We actually may get a little free time in Feb, in between fixing, mending, painting, cleaning and any other jobs the place demands. MARCH Full steam ahead for opening on 1st April, making lots of stock for the gift shop, getting everything out of storage ready for another season. AND the first customer through the door asks .. yes you guessed it ... WHAT DO YOU DO IN THE WINTER?
