WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BUILD A CUSTOM VEHICLE! My buddy Edward Wilson, & myself was having a discussion about a post by Arnie Goldberger, Titled “The PB (Arnie‘s Custom Pearl Purple 1941 Ford Truck) doing what it does best! Collecting finger prints, spilled soft drinks, cigarette ashes, ice cream and kids standing on the running boards! Oh and people just taking the liberty to just sit in it! No respect!” on FaceBook group page. Edward, ask me my thoughts on the post. I told him that happen to me @ the 1993 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, NV. My El Camino was on display in the Linear Power Amplifier booth. It was required to let people get into your vehicle to listen to the sound system, because all the other car shows Ive intended it was required by me to stay out of my car with signs saying “LOOK BUT DON’T TOUCH“. That was the first & last time I displayed my El Camino @ a show like that!! Dont get me wrong I have no problem letting people sit in my car if they ask. When it come to the kids, I taught my nephews & son @ an early age not to get to close & to keep their hands behind their back. I said to Edward, its not only the monies spent, its the time & afford put in building your custom car, truck, motorcycle, etc. Edward Wilson, agree with me 100% that its not only the money spent, its the time & afford & ask me would I post some of the custom work & modifications done to my El Camino so people can see what it takes to build a custom vehicle.
