WHAT IS HAPPY WEDNESDAY Happy Wednesday is part of a bigger project called "Very Long Table" involving the Theatre Department and The Centre for Cultural Partnerships. It is about performing communities within the Victorian College of the Arts. Our specific group runs a weekly event called “Happy Wednesday” where we select a random member of the community in the cafe and shower them with gifts and sing them the "Happy (birthday) Wednesday Song". Everyone is invited to witness or join in on the festivities WHEN “Very Long Table” will be hosting a huge event from September 3rd at 6:00pm until September 4th 6pm on the VCA campus centralizing around a long table in the Queen of Hearts Cafe area. EPIC HAPPY WEDNESDAY will take place during this event. OUR GOALS To spark conversations between students from the different VCA schools To acknowledge individual members of our community and remind them of how important they are by celebrating their existence at the VCA HOW YOU CAN HELP We are looking for any artists from any department who would like to contribute a piece of work as a gift for our EPIC HAPPY WEDNESDAY. This can be ANYTHING old or new of any scale. We are happy to gift it on your behalf or you can gift it personally on the day. Artists will be credited and also acknowledged on our face book page if desired.
