Can you spare an hour tonight to help the Historical Society? The Mt. Lebanon Commissioners are hearing comments on the proposed agreement to lease the municipality-owned building in which the History Center resides to the Historical Society on a long-term basis with an option to buy tonight. The agreement is not a done deal. We need the commissioners to see that the citizens of Mt. Lebanon support this agreement. Our board president, Jim Wojcik, will be giving a speech in favor of the agreement during the citizens comments session, and he will ask those in the audience who agree to raise their hand and state their name and address. You will not have to give a speech, and you will not have to wait for the commissioners vote, which will come later in the evening. If you can attend, please be at the Municipal Building at 8 pm tonight to lend your support. If you cant be at the meeting, but still want to help, please send an email this afternoon to your commissioner with your support, here is their contact information. Thank you.
