Came across a video today on the Phil Valentine radio show that I think everyone, especially people of color NEEDS to view. Time to step up and take control. We need to know EXACTLY who we are voting for, what they stand for, what they do and dont support, how they voted on the issues that concern YOU and YOURS, and even how they voted on the issues that concern everybody else. My goodness, voting for ANY party ticket across the board is irresponsible at best and voting for or against someone because of the color of their skin is criminal. Do we own our votes or do the leaders of the black community own them? That single vote that each of us has adds up with all the other single votes and gets BIG things done, consequently it CAN NO LONGER be taken for granted and bargained away so someone else can achieve their hidden agendas. I dont know about you, but I did not vote for any of the folks that call themselves leaders of the black community. I dont see them during the week and we dont hang out on the weekend. Unless there are photo ops to be had or news stories involving someone suffering, they dont come around here. What do you believe? What do you stand for? What do you teach your kids? What do you want for your kids? I dont care what color the candidate is, how much money they have, or even where they live, my question is does that candidate value the same things I value! I value my belief in Christ and Gods inerrant Word. I value my second amendment rights. I value initiatives aimed at strengthening the family as God has defined it. I value jobs for my daughter and grand-kids when they grow up. Jobs for which they dont have to compete against a million folks that came here illegally. I value rewarding hard work. I value if you dont work, you dont eat. If they want my vote, theyve gotta get with ME, not the other way around. Lets get off our collective butts and do a little research this year. Find out about these jokers and vote our conscience instead of our color. Otherwise, dont complain, you get what you pay for and votes aint cheap! DARE YOU TO SHARE THE VIDEO
