WHAT KIND OF COFFEE IS DECAF? Chickory Coffee is the only coffee - TopicsExpress

WHAT KIND OF COFFEE IS DECAF? Chickory Coffee is the only coffee bean that is caffeine free, it is grown like that by farmers, not processed. Once processed by coffee companies such as Nescafe and others, it can be marketed in either liquid form with sweetners and additives in bottles as Coffee Chickory of which I wrote earlier in my writings. Chickory Coffee, once processed into coffee powder becomes Decaf Coffee that has no stimulants of any kind in it. I have bought coffee beans of raw coffee that had to be grounded before use, you have to boil or as it’s said cook it, or better say percolate it in a coffee percolator or in a kettle of water on the stove before you can use it as is done with all coffee beans. The only difference is, it doesn’t have any taste, and it has no stimulants as the normal coffee has. The other thing is, you encounter lot of waste. After boiling the granulated coffee beans once, you can’t reuse them. You have to throw them away. The best way to do that is recycle them in your vegetable garden. If you have a compost bin, you can tip them into that. It is the same with tea leaves and all brands of tea bags, once you use them, they are finished. For that reason, you can buy various brands of coffee, either in jars, plastic refill packs, or you can buy them processed in sachets, three in one, five in one, seven in one, eight in one etc. You always get lot of waste with any brand of coffee or tea, it can’t be avoided. They are all instant coffee. There are lot of herbal types of coffee, some are made of wheat, there are brands of rice coffee, oatmeal coffee, vegetable coffee with fruit flavors added. Apple, citrus, you name it. A new brand of coffee has just recently come into supermarkets, True Brazillian Coffee, BEN CAFE. It is a new line from Singapore that has just arrived in the Philippines, the way I can see, it is made from corn and various vegetation. You can buy it in the Alturas Supermarket in Tagbilaran. Check it out and have a happy cup of coffee. Miron Lovric, 15/8/2012.
