WHAT THE ..... ???!!! My wife is sitting here watching The Ellen DeGeneres Show featuring President Bill Clinton, who is talking about feeding the poor children and homeless people in other countries...at the same time, this video comes across the screen. Are you kidding me??!! What is wrong with this country, specifically Ft. Lauderdale in this case! What people pass a law like this? So youre telling me we are supposed to support our efforts to feed people overseas but we get arrested if we help out our own people here at home? Anyone going to Ft. Lauderdale for spring break or any other reason should boycott this city...and for the sake of the officers involved, and more specifically the city council, GOD help you! And you better pray that you yourself never need help, in any form, b/c if people know who you are, Im guessing they will turn the other cheek and watch you suffer....I know I would! I support local government, I support law enforcement, and I support poor people need to help themselves....BUT....when a 90 year old man wants to help feed his neighbors, that is his GOD given will and desire! And for you to have a law against that, is absolutely ridiculous! I just came home from Florida on vacation where we were told to not feed the alligators in the wild...its nice that you feel your fellow man falls into the same category as wild animals. Ft. Lauderdale is the disgrace of the United States right now, and you should be ashamed of what you believe in. At this point, you may win your case, or you may lose (again) in court...but the fact is, you already passed a law that forbids your citizens from helping each other. I wish I could really say what Im thinking, but Im afraid if I do, this may get read by the wrong government bodies in charge....but I will say this.....may GOD have mercy on yours souls, b/c you deserve no respect from anyone else. Normally I end my rants by admitting the end of a rant....but this just pisses me off!
