WHAT THE PAPER SAY: Ailing dictator Michael Sata this afternoon once again demonstrated his lack of humility and public manners by lashing out at a Chinese contractor. Sata who was in Chipata for campaigns decided to engage in cheap politics at the expense of Chienese officials working on the Mwami road in Chipata district. Before going to the rally, Sata decided to go and pay a surprise visit at the road under construction. It was lunch hour and the manager for China Jianx construction had gone to lunch. Sata sent the police to go and fetch him from wherever he was He took him to the rally and when it was Sata’s turn to address the rally, he started to say how he was shocked when he did not find the contractor even though he was told he had gone for lunch. Sata then launched into one of his misplaced and unnecessary dressing down of officials in public. He told the Chinese official to stand up and told him to leave the rally venue Mchini Basic School grounds He shouted that he would not condone lack of seriousness among people implementing government contracts. He said said that government wants to see the construction of the Mwami road completed in good time. Sata was in Chipata today drum-up support for PF candidate in theChipata central parliamentary by-election Lameck Mangani. Source: Zambian watchdog
