WHAT WILL IT TAKE? I wonder some times what will it take for this world to wake up and see the truth and do Gods work? I say this because with my own eyes I have seen fathers against their sons and sons against their fathers, mothers and their daughters fighting and clawing at each other, sisters and brothers trying to put each others lights out. Not to mention men sleeping with their best friends wife, or women smiling in their girl friends face and sleeping with her man at the same time. I wonder what will it take for you to wake up and smell the coffee and see the light? Now, I was told that when you speak your mind about God changing your life in a split second, non-believers will laugh, others will think youre crazy and the small percentage that will believe, they believe because they know that as long as God knows your state of mind, what others think doesnt matter. So, Im going to tell you a story about a girl I know and what it took for her to change. Donna is her name. Donna went through some of the things I mentioned in the paragraph above. She suffered a terrible encounter of physical and mental abuse at the hands of women and men she trusted. One of the women and men that I speak of made her prom day such a disaster she didnt want to go but she did and after the prom was over she gave him his walking papers not knowing that he would destroy their prom pictures out of resentment because she broke it off. Now she only has but a memory of that day in her mind. No matter where Donna went in life, she was always meeting the wrong people. They took her kindness for weakness, especially men. Most of the mental and physical abuse she encountered was at their hands. Well, one day she got angry and decided that she had had enough. By that time, she had so much animosity in her heart against anyone that had ever did anything to her especially men, she despised them with a passion. That animosity soon turned to anger and then rage. That wall of anger and rage she built reached a dangerous level inside Donna. She became a walking time bomb waiting to explode. This girl tried to destroy everything in her path until she got into a fight with one of our most dangerous enemies. The Angel of death Some of us call him Satan. After fighting this battle with evil for years, one day Donna realized that she was not only fighting for her life but also her soul. This made her fight even harder and the more she fought the weaker she got. Just as she was about to loose her battle fighting with what little fight she had left in her, God intervened. He stood between his child and the enemy because this demon was coming at Donna with brutal force. 15 hour double major surgery God brought her through. Then another surgery followed and God brought her through. Another followed that and then another. Each time God brought her through. Today Donna lives a wonderful happy life because she laid all that animosity, anger, and rage at the foot stool of the Lord and asked him to save her through his son Jesus Christ. Today Donna is a humble and loving person and she does not care to know the person that she was. To her that person died a long time ago. Gods work is what she is devoted to. She is a good example as to what God can and will do for his children if they want to change. WHAT WILL IT TAKE FOR YOU?
