WHATS EXCELLENT ABOUT ARMENIA - #53 PAPIK & TATIK ZHENGALOV HATZANOTZ - Being a vegetarian, Ive had to learn to like zhengalov hatz - a mix of greens and butter baked in lavash. Its my fallback menu item when we take the kids out for lahmajo. But this past week I discovered Papik & Tatik Zhengalov Hatzanotz on Aleverdian Street (in a basement venue 2 blocks up from the Aray store on the left). All they serve is zhengelov hatz in an amazing array of different options. Talk about delicious! Its a vegetarians dream! The atmosphere isnt worth writing about, but the food is great. Worth checking out.
