WHEN ANGELS DROP BY When Peter and Lana dropped their donated goods at BAWA’s Monkey Forest Road shop in Ubud, we had to use our spacious animal ambulance to transfer it all to the BAWA depot. This wonderfully supportive couple from Perth, Australia, had seen our work on Facebook and then enlisted their colleagues at Stellar Asia Pacific call centre to fundraise for BAWA and the animals before their holiday in Bali. They organised fun activities including a toasted sandwich and croissant day, a payday sweep, a parking bay raffle, bingo and a drop box collection. Then they headed to Bali with the money and went shopping for BAWA! On behalf of their very generous colleagues at Stellar Asia Pacific in Perth, Peter and Lana delivered 2 sacks of rice, 360 eggs, 12 towels, and both canned and dry dog and cat food worth many hundreds of dollars. Then the fabulous couple helped us out with some volunteer work! We really can’t thank Lana and Peter and their co-workers enough. Their kindness has helped us so much to feed and care for many, many hungry animals in Bali. You have made such a difference!
