WHEN I BEFRIENDED A RACIST 93 YEARS OLD man ... When I admitted Mr, Elliot at the Home I used to Manage ... He was an English Policeman in the 1930s & HATED people with Dark Colours ... Every coloured people to him were BLACK ... So, his first day at the Old Folks Home , he Spat on my Face when I Introduced myself & gave me a kick on my shin while he was sitting on his Wheelchair, when I made another attempt to get near him ... But, it didnt Deter me from this Challenge ... Days, weeks, & months I have been trying to create & develop a.good Rapport with him that turned into a Failure .... I noticed that he did not any visits from his Family ever since he was admitted to the Home ... Then, one day he came to my Office & said that ... I am ready to make Friends with you ... ... It was like like Music in my Ears to hear him saying that .... Because he was such an Arrogant Racist xxxxxxx ... He pored his Heart out to me that he was a Bad husband to his Wife & a Bad Father to his Children because of his Regimental experience in the Police Force ...
