WHEN WILL IT HIT? #alwx The latest guidance from the National Weather Service in Birmingham shows the storm system arriving in the metro Birmingham area between 7 and 9 p.m. Areas to the north and west will see storms arrive sooner, while those south and west will be hit later. Dont forget that this system will likely bring flooding to many areas because of the heavy rainfall anticipated. A flash flood watch is in effect until Wednesday for all of north and central Alabama.
