WHERE IS COMPOL MBU? For those who still remember him, Mbu is the former action Compol or Rivers state. He was so effective that he usurped the powers of the state Governor, Chief Rotimi Ameachi - stripping him of all responsibility as the CSO of Rivers state. Professionally, Mbu was so effective hence, popular. There were protests and demonstrations by market women when it was rumored he was going to be posted out of Rivers state. Mbu was so powerful that he once denied the Rivers State Governor, Chief Rotimi Ameachi entrance into the Government House. It took a threat from the NASS to force the FG to save Chief Ameachi from the excesses of Mbu. It is amazing that after the record achievements of Mbu in Rivers State, he couldnt secure Abuja, the nations capital from assault. In just a month, twice Abuja came under major attacks - including an unprecedented attack just meters away from the presidential villa. The recent, a bomb blast, left close to one hundred people dead and many injured. Has Mbu lost his touch or does it only exist in the imagination of his Rivers states fans?
