SCAM ALERT - be aware your debit card information can be stolen at the pump. Our card information was stolen 3/5/14 at a gas station here in New Milford. It was just discovered when balancing our checkbook. Sunoco stations in Pennsylvania have since charged our debit card for fuel on 2 occasions. We canceled the card and disputed the charges. Now researching how this could have happened, and apparently there are little devices that can be attached to the pump..they are so tiny they go un-detected, and they steal your information. I am NOT saying do not go to this particular station, I am sure they are unaware ( although we tried calling and alerting the manager, he does not speak English very well, and mis-understood what we were telling him, and now thinks we were accusing him....thats not the case ). During research we learned that you should pay for your gas inside the station or at the pump nearest the building when using your debit card.
