WHERE IS YOUR PASSION!!! Often times we go to God in prayer murmuring and demanding manners, instead of showering Him praises (We take little or no cognisance of the divine deposit inside us). The Bible advised all manner expecters thus: “Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. How long will you lie there, you sluggard? When will you get up from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest— and poverty will come on you like a thief and scarcity like an armed man” (prov. 6:6-11). THERE IS GREAT DIVINE DEPOSIT IN YOU! No waste in God’s dictionary. If there is anything God hate; it’s waste- of time, spiritual gifts/ talents, waste of material resources etc. After the miracle of the five loaves and two fishes” whereby five thousand souls were fed, Jesus forbid his disciples not to allow waste rather to gather the left over. He knew God forbid waste because his gifts are precious. Jesus cursed the fig tree because He knew that the tree had the capacity to produce great fruits to feed souls but could not bear one! (matt. 21:19-22). Likewise the foolish servant that was given a talent instead he should trade with it, he buried it. He was cursed and the little he had was taken away and given to them that have more! The ones that make use of their gifts received increase! (Matthew-2514-30) Ignite your passion! Give God the praise due to Him with your life and u‘ll prosper! No waste of precious time doing unprofitable things especially things that don’t have eternal value Always be accomplishing the divine purpose for your life (luke2:49). No dull moment should be allowed, make use of your opportunity to sharpen your tomorrow. (Judges 9:4)(Acts 17:5)(Proverbs 15:2), .(Ephesians 4:28, 1 Corinthians 15:58) Avoid wasters and wavers (A rolling stone gathers no moss/ “Planta quae saepius transfertus non coalescit”/) Make God your priority and have Him close you: Fruitfulness is you portion (Jn15:5). Poverty is a matter of choice. Choose to be rich not just PHYSICALLY but also SPIRITUALLY And pay the good price with practical faith!!! E.A Onyekachi.
