WHERE YOU FIND COMFORT! I will comfort you there in Jerusalem as a mother comforts her child. Isaiah 66:13. The comfort we are talking about here does not mean the absence of trouble. But it is in the midst thereof, that we understand what it means to be comforted. Comfort therefore does not mean you would have no problems or difficulties. But even though you may walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you shall fear no evil. For God will be with you. His rod and His staff shall COMFORT you... Comfort seeks to give strength and hope when you are weak and in despair. To ease the grief or pain when in challenges. It is a feeling of relief/encouragement and a satisfying/enjoyable experience. You might have prayed all your nice prayers and yet the problems are around you. Like Daniel in the lions den. And like the three Hebrew friends in the furnace, you shall be comforted.
