WHITE HOUSE CENSORS PRESS, MEDIA DOESNT OBJECT MUCH: This Washington Post story is a bombshell, written more like a jaded confession than an outraged expose. The Obama White House has been editing or refusing to transmit articles written by MSM reporters. (For years, the White House has transmitted pool reports to every member of the White House press corps. Reporters take turns filing pool reports for every one else, to save time, money and effort). The Obama administration obviously feels comfortable giving propaganda orders to independent press and those professional obviously feel comfortable taking orders, albeit with a little servant-like grumbling. This is what happens when watchdogs become lapdogs. The best way for the media to regain the publics respect (and earn back their own self-respect) is to set up an independent means of transmitting pool reports. A simple e-mail list-serve might do. If they dont, we can only assume that they have left the news business and become p.r. agents for the president.
