WHO REMEMBERS SNOW DAYS IN ROSEVILLE. I dont either because the storms always hit on Saturday Night so still had to go to School at Cirby on Monday. LOL Not once did I have a SNOW DAY off from school. This is looking out from my Moms property on Sunset Drive looking at Hillcrest. The neighbors yards on the left side of the street are the Nelsons, Hexoms, and the Andersons. The neighbor on the right were the Neals. The other houses pictured on Hillcrest are the Edgars, Garbolinos and one other family. Im trying to remember the year on this picture and I am thinking around 1957 judging on the little trees then. I know I have other snow pictures and will have to find them in my Genealogy boxes. Living steadily in Roseville from 1950 until I got drafted into the Army 1971, I only remember it snowing about 4 times. I wish I had more pictures I would have shown you my little Snow Men (not enough snow). ha ha ha I admit I have lived in Roseville numerous times since leaving for the Army in 1971.
